Founder

Gary has been a Human Resource professional for more than 25 years, working in both corporate America and in full-time ministry. Gary’s first love is recruiting and hiring, and he has done that successfully for two national organizations.

Gary was the Human Resource Director for a national pizza chain, providing oversight of all Rocky Mountain Region personnel for nine years. Gary was then hired by a national men's ministry to launch their Human Resources department, and over the next fourteen years he provided oversight of all aspects of that function, hiring over 1000 staff. The ministry later experienced a decline in revenue, resulting in a series of layoffs which proved to be the genesis of Gary's call to equip and inspire men and women to regain employment and fulfillment.

Gary founded Careers With A Purpose in 2009 to address the growing unemployment crisis in America. Over the last three years over 1400 people have secured the Careers With A Purpose advantage.

Rick Wright

Chief Marketing Officer

Rick has over 25 years of experience in new business development, non-profit development, and ministry marketing, both as a client and as an agency representative. Rick has been responsible for the branding direction and marketing efforts of numerous non-profits and church ministries.

He is an effective communicator and insightful visionary, and is adept at maximizing effectiveness within the cause related community. His extensive experience provides him with a keen understanding of what works in marketing and new business development in a media-saturated culture.

Rick has designed successful marketing plans and implemented financially accountable processes to expand and improve client's ministries.

Todd Halberg

Director of Client Relations

Todd worked for NBC Burbank Operations for seventeen years, and he and his wife Candie served with an international marriage ministry for the last eight of those years.  Todd and Candie then moved to the marriage ministry headquarters in Denver to assume US national oversight, where they directed organizational format, strategy, training, course curriculum, communication, client relations, and ministry to their leadership network.

At the completion of that assignment, Todd was hired to assist with the launch of The Hallmark Channel’s international broadcast effort, and over the next sixteen years managed operations under several owners, most recently as Director of Media Operations.

Todd is passionate about the effectiveness of the Careers With A Purpose Workshop, and how God is using it to inject hope and launch the unemployed and underemployed to new levels of faith, confidence, and job search skills.  He also finds fulfillment in leadership, mentoring, and writing, and happily admits to being an annoyingly picky wordsmith.
